Just a brief note to say thanks for my recent on line purchase.

"GEOCALC SOFTWARE is my preferred HP Calculator supplier now.  I searched the Internet looking to secure a Scientific HP Calculator on line.  I am too busy to shop around too long.  I chose GEOCALC as they have engineering / scientific background and called on the phone 1st since they are based in QLD and I in NSW.

This telephone call was Saturday, however GEOCALC ending up calling me back to find out how they could assist almost immediately.  This is kind of service on a non-week day is uncommon and struck me as a small business that cares about its client base.

I thoroughly recommend GEOCALC for purchase of HP calculators.  Personal service and advice in a ‘niche’ market is where they excel.  My calculator arrived in Sydney on Wed, when ordered Sat.  This included some chocolates (which my wife ate without my permission..), a quick calculator and all that I expected.

I get really fed up with paying double the US price for many goods in Australia.  I would urge you to maintain the current pricing and increase volume of sales, rather than increase the price to lose sales to ebay etc.  Whereas previously the 50G was about $170US as opposed to your previous price of 274AU!!!  Now it is about $140US so your price of $170AU is competitive with local warranty and goodies.

I purchased a HP50G.  I was a nice surprised to find the extra items included with the package.  My only suggestion is that a note be included with this particular calculator on the requirement to reduce the keytime to 500.  I am using this unit to replace a HP48G and was getting a lot of missed key strokes until I worked out how to change the keytime setting.
