Geocalc Software is a family based Australian business suppling Hewlett Packard Calculators and Australian Surveying Software to Australian consumers.

We aim to provide an honest, reliable and professional service to all our Australia wide customers including those in the corporate, government and military sectors.

We do not conform to the "normal" retail store yet we do conform to "normal" retail practices.

We understand that you prefer to have your order yesterday, therefore we only use express overnight delivery services.

Our History

The site owner is a Registered QLD Surveyor and software developer for Hewlett Packard’s HP48, HP49 & HP50 Graphic calculators. Software development commenced with the humble HP48SX model back in 1990.
In 1996 the Geocalc software package was developed primarily dedicated to Cadastral and Engineering surveying and targeted to Australian Surveyors.
In November 2000 we registered our ABN (Australian Business Number) and commenced retailing Hewlett Packard Calculators to compliment our software sales.

In April 2007 we established our eCommerce website complete with a shopping cart facility for direct online ordering and greater flexibility in payment methods with the acceptance of Visa & MasterCard.

In November 2007 we registered a Family Partnership and trade with a new ABN (Australian Business Number).

The 2007/2008 financial year was a record year for Geocalc Software. Our gross income exceeded the $75,000 GST threshold for a non-GST registered business and subsequently were required to register for GST, effective 02-July-2008. We now issue you a Tax Invoice with every sale.

In September 2008 we were forced to cease using our domain www.hpcalculators.com.au due to an unforseen breach in the famous Hewlett Packard trademark. Subsequently we transferred to a new domain name:

In April 2009 we upgraded our Credit Card processing facility using a formal merchant account together with eWAY^® - Australia's Award Winning Payment Gateway.

Business Affiliates

We have a strong affiliation with the Australian HP Master Distributor in Melbourne which means you can buy with confidence knowing that we have the service and support of the Australian HP Master Distributor behind us.
In most cases we handle our own deliveries (small orders) and have a business account with Toll Ipec for small parcels.
For large orders (5+ Calculators) these can be delivered to you direct from the Australian HP Master Distributor.
All our products are in stock and available for immediate dispatch unless otherwise noted via an "Out of Stock" notice on our website.

Other Info

All purchases are issued with an Australian Tax Invoice for tax purposes and warranty registration.

All our Hewlett Packard products are covered by 12 Months Manufacturers Warranty.
